Embrace The Natural Beauty

  • Ross Dock/Undercliff Picnic Area

Located in northern New Jersey, in Englewood Cliffs/Fort Lee this was my absolute favorite park to visit as a kid. Tons of greenery in a gorgeous park beneath the GWB and below the palisades, this is a true hidden gem of New Jersey. There are tons of old stone structures dating back to the revolutionary war that are perfect for portraits that balance well with the natural landscape.

  • Van Vleck House & Gardens

Located in Montclair, New Jersey, this beautiful garden is perfect for couples portraits and graduation shoots when you’re looking for a serene environment. I am absolutely in LOVE with the hanging wisteria flowers within the courtyard. Keep in mind these are only especially in bloom during early spring. The garden does a great job at keeping track of what flowers are in bloom on their facebook page.FYI: this location requires a photography permit so if you’re interested in shooting here, let me know as soon as possible so I can get started on the necessary paperwork as soon as possible.

  • New Jersey Botanical Garden

The New Jersey Botanical Garden is by far one of my favorite gardens to shoot at. While it may be far (located on the border of NJ/NY in Ringwood) there are plenty of photogenic spots throughout the rather large park wether it be in the gardens or Castle at Skylands Manor and their reflection ponds.
